RAYMOND IRRIGATION DISTRICT
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT ACT
NOTICE OF WEED CONTROL PROGRAM
The Raymond Irrigation District will be applying herbicides for the 2025 operating season under specific conditions for the following purposes:
- To control broadleaf weeds on district right of ways and driving banks using 2-4-D and Dicamba
- To control reed canary grass in canals and ditches using
Round-up
- To control submerged aquatic weeds inside of the main canal system using Magnacide H
Any person or persons who are directly affected by this operation ought to contact Cody Heggie at the Raymond irrigation District office for more information of the weed control program. RID personnel will contact all water users affected by the use of the Magnacide H on an as used basis. This program will commence on approximately the 31st day of May until the 1st day of October, 2025.
